A blog post. hmmnn not a bad idea. I've decided to start expressing all my thoughts on the web. maybe thats a good place to start.
So whats up with the rage? I'll tell you. First i think its quite unfortunate being black. Am not sure why exactly but if there's any truth to be told, you'll agree with me that the black race sucks! And i mean every word of that. Oh we suck so bad. even sadder is the fact that we don't know how bad we stink. Shameless!
To start with. how much of our history do we know. they say the key to the future is the past. And please don't bring up that Egypto-Nubian crap again. question is : who wrote that. in what language. in which text book....yeah your guess is as good....white men-anthropologists. they help us document our history (laughing crazily) pity. You know, I've been working on another movie idea, an epic actually and i've been doing so much research work on Nigerian Gods, Godessess and divinities. google stuff up and all u get is wikipedia. So i said; no way. I'm gonna visit these professors and talk to them specially. I visited Unilag. met a prof i don't even wanna mention his name. He brings out so many books and you know what....I shld have just stuck with wikipedia. No doubt there were the few ones written by black dudes in the 60s and 70s...mostly OAU profs. same story...all references were from names like W.M. Richard et al. crazy. really crazy. so i asked the Prof. How come there are no ancient documentations from our ancesstors that we can reference. then he spits out the truth: "well...emmm...ha...thats an interesting one...ehn you see...the problem with us is that...our fathers did not write this things down..they told their children"
See what i'm talking about. who or what created this race. Am not sure but if there's a heaven and there's a supreme being to see, He'll have lots of questions to answer. Then some idiot wakes up one morning goes to the press like.." you see...thats the problem with our youths ...they are too americanized, lets embrace our own culture...do our own thing". The lunatic is all dressed up in an Ashley and Baker suit with a Gucci wristwatch and watches DSTV. Of course the dudes and girls wanna do african stuff but what exactly does african stuff look like. the only times I have seen "african stuff " that am proud of are in movies like Lion King or Coming to America.

Theres so much to say...so just digest these for now and think about it....gotta get my melanin pumpin skin back to work!
mmhmm, Manuyie this's a true yarn. Sometimes I wonder why we were created like this! to be black and dark in every ways. Everybody have a history and knows their origin but we don't, why should it be like that?
ReplyDeleteWe need to wake up now or never to use this time to search and understand our history. We need to be afrikans and prove that we are one where ever we live. For instance, a Jamican will never copy the westerners but on contrary, the westerners copy their styles and say "bom bom clart". Let's show them why we are Africans and stop copying their ways of life. They have poluted our culture and heritage, let's fight back and get back our dignity. One luv
